B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)
Bachelor of Education or B Ed is a professional undergraduate program that prepares students for a career in teaching. The course is designed to provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to become effective educators. The B.Ed course typically lasts for 2 years and is divided into four semesters. During this time, students learn about various aspects of teaching, including educational psychology, teaching methodology, curriculum development, and classroom management.
B.Ed Eligiblity
- Candidates must have finished their undergraduate degree in any stream—whether it be arts, sciences, or commerce
- B.Ed course admission procedure provided they have graduated with at least 50 - 55 percent aggregate marks.
- Age Restrictions: In the majority of colleges, there are no age restrictions for B.Ed admissions. However, some B Ed institutions have a minimum age requirement of 19 years old for applicants.
